| Yep, I'm here at MacWorld. It is kind of disappointing though. I was expecting some better and more abundant product announcements. | |

| Ok, just a quick post, apparently (this is according to Ariana) I am officialy straight since I didn't know the difference between a skirt and a dress and what an oxford shirt is. She has some odd criteria for guys being gay (of which I apparently fit most, but certainly not this one).
As far as school, I finally scored a good grade on a Stats quiz. On the quiz from last Friday I scored 10 out of 10. I think that he miss graded it and gave me a point where he should not have, but I'm certainly not going to point that out. Hoorah!
Ok, I am off to get ready for work. Oh, I get to finally start work on the new Credentials database today (which I have been looking forward to since Jon told me about it last week.

| Ok, so I really haven't posted since the first week of school. Really, I should just post something. Anyways, school is fine, work is awesome, and life is generally doing well in general. I finished creating a program for work that imports/exports addresses from Apple Address Book. The best part about it (besides it working absolutely beautifully) is that I wrote it in applescript using Apple's XCode IDE. My boss has agreed to put that down as another requirement for my position when he flys it next month. He will also make knowledge of OS X Server so long as I can figure it out in time (and he may even include it if I don't and have me bend the truth). The unfortunate part of having to know OS X Server, is that my boss is not letting me have any time to read up on how it works. I still should be able to get the job with out too much of a fight.
For classes, I have been having a lot of homework, but note-taking in classes has been made much simpler due to the laptop I got from work. I have been typing all of my notes and audio recording all of my classes so that I don't have to take word-for-word notes as much. Anyways, I have to get to bed.

| I'm sitting in HSS304 waiting for my prof to come, so far s/he is five minutes late. Louis from my Physics I course is here. Hopefully I won't be driven insane by him. He's here (the prof). ( Read more... ) | |

| Yay! I bought a new TV today that is HDTV (1080i to be exact). Our old one is finally in its death throes so I figured that it was time to finally give up on it. It was a nice tv while it lasted, but this one will be better. Albeit it is not as good as Greg's, it is nice. Marie is also coming home tonight with a Playstation2 in tow. I happened to buy Lego Star Wars for it when I was in target buying the tv.
As for right now, I am waiting for Marie to come home while I sit in candel light working on my computer. Don't ask me what possessed me to light some candles, I am in a weird mood right now and candels just seemed appropriate. In a few minutes (when Laura is ready) we will go down to my car to finally bring the tv up to the apartment (where it will sit and wait for the old tv to be moved out so that we can put in its proper resting place).

| Ok, I finally gave in and had to downgrade my poor laptop from the beta OS10.5 (Leopard) back to OS10.4 (Tiger). It was fun while it lasted, but I finally gave in when I had to load the administrative version of Apple Remote Desktop and it gave me all kinds of errors. 'Tis sad, I was enjoying finding all of the bugs and seeing it work when it ran smoothly. Well, here's to hoping that it will live up to all its potential when it arrives to the public in the Spring (my bet is on MacWorld).
Also, I just read an article this evening that says that the new BootCamp version offers all kinds of functionality to Windows including support for the iSight. I can't wait until I get a chance to load it up this weekend and try it out. The only problem is that I really don't know what program to test the camera out with in Windows. *shrug* I'll figure that out when I get there. - Humeur Actuel:sleepy

| Ok, so I finally convinced myself to signup for MySpace. However, I can't do that. Apparently MySpace does not want to make it that simple for me. My account has already had trouble to the point where I cannot login. I was logged in immediately after I signed up for about ten minutes. I then proceeded to message marie a couple of times and try to add her and Vicki as friends. The messages worked and the adding of friends did not. After five errors, I was kicked off. So then I proceeded to check my email and notice that there was a confirmation link in my email. Clicky-clicky. And well, nothing. So here I am after messaging the MySpace techies trying to get them to fix it only to recieve a response saying that they are "working on it." Well, that was my wonderful introduction to MySpace. I'm off to try and find some real, live humans to interact with. - Humeur Actuel:frustrated

| I love being a geek. This week I got to completely enjoy being a geek. How do you ask? I was able to go to a few WWDC (Apple's Developer's Conference) sessions. I think my brain just about melted through the second session. I was overwhelmed by the shear amount of tech stuff and geek talk that was around me. It was so neat to be around so many people that just loved everything about computers. I also managed to install the preview version of the next Apple OS, OS10.5 "Leopard." It is obviously very buggy and is beginning to make me wish that I had not installed it, but nevertheless, I plan to keep it for a little while to see if I can get used to it and so that I can start reporting some of the bugs that I find (so far I have found three blatant bugs).
Beyond that, I have a horrible headache right now which is probably caused by the amount of stress that my boss has been putting me through since Jon was not in the office most of the week to keep him in line and keep him from losing his thin grip on reality. Long story short, we are all working together on developing a database to keep track of credential information for one of our departments. Yesterday he kept having "meetings" with me on this database every five minutes wanting to see my progress. Well, I pretty much got nothing done and wanted to either strangle him or break down crying by the end of the day. I asked Jon when I saw him last night after work to please keep Seanchan busy Friday afternoon so that I might be able to get a little bit of real work done. Well, it was all for naught since we had all (the whole office) had a meeting two minutes after I walked in the door this afternoon (at 2PM) and then immediately after meeting he had me show him what I had accomplished since our last meeting (again nothing) and then he left for the day. Wow. That man needs a hobby (or a real job).
Also, I have decided to atleast attempt to learn Objective-C and Cocoa. It looks really simple and extremely powerful. - Humeur Actuel:optimistic
